Il y a maintenant quelque mois, j'ai été avec mon groupe amené à backer President Brown lors de son passage sur une web TV que vous connaissez peut-être : LaLocale. Nous avons repris un de ses morceaux : Micro Ship et il était venu chanter avec nous. Un pu**** de souvenir la veille de son concert unique à Paris, c'était au New Morning.

Je lui avait demandé où je pourrai me procurer les lyrics pour chanter le morceau et il m'avait promis de le mettre pour moi sur internet. Mais bon, les rasta de Jamaïque sont pas trop branché internet et le texte reste introuvable. Si l'un d'entre vous pouvait me le recopier j'en serai ravis. J'adore ce morceau et le chanter me ferait énormément plaisir.

En plus la photo que tu as mis où Président est avec le bassiste a été prise précisément sur le morceau Micro Ship. J'étais au premier rang quand il l'a fait venir à l'avant de la scène pour le motiver. Quel souvenir !

Akwaaba > tout le plaisir est pour moi frèrot ... je suis toujours ravi de faire des heureux ...
Hélas je n'ai pu aller voire President Brown et Prince Malachi cette année, en revanche je l'ai vu dans la même salle il y'a quelques années avec d'autres artistes (Trinity & U-Brown) et c'était fabuleux ... J'en garde un excellent souvenir.

PS : pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas je vous invite a écouter Le tune de President Brown (a mon sens) en combinaison avec Anthony Malvo.
C'est 1 reprise d'un certain Swell Headed (que tous les puristes ici présents doivent connaitrent). Tune called : Red Alert !!!

J'étais au concert du new morning, c'était bien bien sympa. Deux bêtes d'artistes, malheureusement, une salle pas bien pleine, voire presque vide à la fin du set du Prezident!
